It’s our managing director; Liam’s, 20th work anniversary this month. While we cannot be with him to celebrate, we couldn’t let it go under the radar! If you know Laser Red, then you know the face, the man, the legend that is Liam O’Leary. We certainly wouldn’t be the thriving team of 21 if it wasn’t for his incredible talent, dedication and attention to his team’s success and wellbeing.

Whilst we all know him as “a hardworking boss with a great love for his staff and clients”, he has an incredible history of achievements spanning the last 20 years.

In 2013, he took the driving seat of Laser Red which his father Peter O’Leary started in 1995. Starting at the bottom inputting data, he worked his way up to creative director. In early 2016 he was officially made Managing Director of Laser Red and moved the team to its current larger premises in the heart of Grimsby. Liam’s drive to achieve didn’t stop there and in 2017 he bagged himself Lincolnshire’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.  The following year, Liam acquired Spiral Media; an eCommerce web and marketing company based in Lincoln.

“Liam is dedicated to both clients and staff, he knows how to balance professionalism and personality. It is a pleasure to work with him on a daily basis.”

If he wasn’t already busy enough, Liam is also the host of the Business After Hours podcast, a member of the Business Growth Group, a husband and father. Even while spinning all these plates he is still “cool, calm and collected, nothing fazes Mr O. He works his socks off and always has the client’s best interests at heart”. If you haven’t guessed already, he is a real role model for everyone, the team have even taken time to include some comments about what he means to them.

“Over the years I have had the pleasure to work with some really great bosses and also my fair share of not so great ones. Liam is there, head and shoulders above the majority of them. Happy to both lead, nurture and mentor and also get his hands dirty at 1am in the morning to help out with a crisis.”

Let’s face it, “Laser Red would be nothing without Mr. O’Leary”!

Happy work anniversary Liam!
